The Copernicus Emergency Management Service (CEMS) Week 2021 has successfully launched and DeepCube couldn’t miss it!

CEMS Week 2021 (https://emergency.copernicus.eu/mapping/ems/cems-week-2021) brings together scientists, policy makers and the user community in a discussion about the future of the Copernicus service in the management of natural disasters.

The European Forest Fire Information System – EFFIS (https://effis.jrc.ec.europa.eu/) invited Dr. Ioannis Papoutsis of the Institute for Astronomy Astrophysics Space Applications and Remote Sensing – National Observatory of Athens (https://www.astro.noa.gr/), to present DeepCube’s first research results on Artificial Intelligence technologies for forecasting of climate-related disasters such as wildfires and extreme droughts.

The presentation of DeepCube’s Use Cases is available here.
